It is held at the Diamond Creek Centre at 119 Cowin Street and includes information on the following:\n\n	Overview of MS Word\, Excel\, PowerPoint\, and Outlook and which to use for what purpose.\n	Web links to practice touch typing\n	What is possible on the internet - using free web based software to complete work tasks (eg. e-newsletters with mailchimp\, e-surveys with survey monkey\, event ticketing and rostering)\n	Basic introduction to social media\n\n \n\n\nTarget Audience:\nThis basic computer skills course is designed for adult users who have little or no understanding\, knowledge of\, or experience in using a computer and would like the opportunity to learn with others in a supportive and encouraging environment. \n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes:\nBy the end of this course you should be able to: Appropriately start up and shut down your computer. Navigate the operating system and start applications. Perform basic functions of file management.
